Prague & Germany
Featuring Christmas Markets, Beer Spa, Castles, Bone Church, and more

THE EXPERIENCE

Czechia is full of historical sights and very well-preserved areas, so it’s no surprise that many have been declared UNESCO sites. One great thing about UNESCO designated sites in the Czech Republic is that not all of them are “just” buildings – which means that you get a chance to see history in many forms.

We will also have the chance to visit various Christmas Markets around the Czech Republic and Germany during this trip. There are carnival rides, food, souvenir stands, artisan craft shops, pop-up bars and so much more. Though every city celebrates a little differently, there is a sense of joy, excitement, and community across every European Christmas market.

the fact that all the decoration in the interior of this unusual church is made of human bones. It’s hard to believe, but you will have the opportunity to see it with your own eyes, and our guide will tell the story of this place.

During this tour you will see another famous castle – Czech Sternberk. The clan of princes Sternberkov owns this castle from time immemorial and to this day. Day 5 :

Experience Dresden Christmas

The nicest time of the year begins when the Christmas season starts in Germany. This is a time of contemplation which is characterized by candle light and the smell of biscuits, frost patterns on windows, mysterious Christmas stories and crisp cold weather. German Christmas cake (Stollen), ginger bread, spiced biscuits, cinnamon stars and mulled wine are a definite must during this time of the year – and there is more than enough of all of this available in a large variety and in a good quality at the Christmas markets.

Immerse yourself in the traditions of the holiday season with mulled wine and Christmas cookies to munch on along the way. Explore Dresden and to get an insider’s perspective of the Christmas markets of Dresden.

Discover the historic city of Dresden on a guided walking tour and visit the iconic Frauenkirche. Enjoy a guided tour of the elegant Dresden Zwinger Gardens and see where royalty once lived on a tour of Dresden Castle.

Dresden Christmas market is the oldest in Germany and is known locally as Striezelmarkt. With stalls selling everything from toys to hand-made trinkets, visitors should definitely sample the delicious Hefestriezel (German Christmas Cake) and delicious mulled wine.
