This tour is a perfect way to see the highlights of the South African Coastline, between Cape Town and Port Elizabeth. It includes nature, culture, and adventure, so there is something for everyone to enjoy. This tour is private and fully guided, meaning you have access to a private tour vehicle appropriate to your group size, as well as a professional tour guide who drives the vehicle. The tour starts in Cape Town and ends in Port Elizabeth.

Trip Itinerary

Day 1 :

Cape Town

Arrive in Cape Town and make your way to the hotel. Check in to your hotel and enjoy a day at leisure. Guide meet group for pre tour meet and greet.

Day 2 :

City centre, Cape Town foodie experience and Table Mountain Cable Way

We will start the day with a focus on history and food. While exploring the city centre with your guide, learn about the unique history while tasting some of the culinary delights that makes the city a must visit foody destination. Foodie tastings can include: Milk tart and rooibos tea, Cape Malay lunch and some of the best coffee & local rusks. Next stop, the cable way up Table Mountain, to take in the views before heading back to the hotel for the evening.

Day 3 :

Cape Peninsula Tour

You won’t believe the beautiful scenery you will experience in one day on the Cape Peninsula. We will start by driving to the beautiful town of Simons town, via Fish Hoek and Muizenberg to view a Colony of endangered African penguins. We will then travel on to the Cape of Good Hope, the furthest southwestern point in Africa. We will have time for hiking to the Cape Point lighthouse. After a visit to the National Park guest will visit the famous Cape Point Vineyards for wine tasting and lunch with some spectacular views. We will then take the coastal road to the Hout Bay harbour to take in the beautiful harbour scenes. On our way back we will take the scenic route back to Cape Town via the Atlantic seaside suburbs of Clifton and Camps Bay, and see the Twelve Apostles.

Day 4 :

Cape Town – Mossel bay

After breakfast, we will head to the famous Garden Route. Our first stop is Mossel Bay. In the afternoon guests have at leisure, You can spend time on the spectacular beaches, hike the Cape St. Blaize trail along the cliffs overlooking the Indian Ocean, or visit the famous Diaz Museum complex, commemorating the first known European exploration around the tip of Africa. The more adventurous can try optional sand boarding.

Day 5 :

Mossel bay – Knysna

Guests have the morning at leisure in Mossel Bay. The more adventurous can try shark cage diving. Mid-day we will head to the famous town of Knysna via the lavish Lake District of the Garden Route. This up-market little town is filled with curios, restaurants and a waterfront, where you will be able to relax and do some shopping.

Day 6 :

Knysna

After breakfast, we will depart on a guided township experience through Emzini Township with local guides. In the afternoon guests will have time to explore Knysna. Late afternoons sees guests heading out to enjoy a sunset boat cruise on the Knysna Lagoon followed by a farewell braai dinner.

Day 7 :

Knysna – Port Elizabeth

After breakfast, we head off to Tsitsikamma National Park. En route we will stop at Bloukrans Bridge to view the world’s highest bungee jump bridge (216 meters). Next visit the Tsitsikamma National Park with its unique combination of indigenous forest and beautiful Indian Ocean coastline. The park has a wide choice of activities for all, including hiking, crossing a suspension bridge and swimming. After exploring the park, we will depart for Gqeberha (Port Elizabeth) where your tour will end in the late afternoon.
