Trip Overview
Day 1 :
Arrival – Cairo (X)
Upon arrival our assistance will meet and assist you to finish all formalities then you will be transferred to your hotel, overnight at hotel in Cairo.
Day 2 :
Discover the Great Pyramids of Giza and Sakkara Tombs & Pyramids
Meals: (Breakfast-Lunch)
After your breakfast, it will be time to begin your tour to the Pyramids and Sphinx the first visit of the day will be to the Pyramids of Giza, one of the Seven Wonders of the World, built by the pharaohs from the period starting from 2590 BC to 2480 BC.
You will have the chance to explore the wonders of the Great Pyramid, get inside the queen Pyramid; you will also discover the beauty of the Sphinx, one of the largest monolith statues in the history of mankind. After enjoying the view and taking your lovely photos, you will move to Sakkara, which includes the step pyramid of king Zoser the oldest pyramid in Egypt visit also some of the Nobels tombs Finally, you’ll head back to Cairo for another night at your hotel.
Welcome Dinner for the group at traditional restaurant.
Day 3 :
Visit the grand Egyptian museum & Muhammed Ali Mosque and Old Cairo & Bazaar
Meals : (Breakfast-Lunch)
After your breakfast, start your full-day tour in Cairo start by visiting Cairo’s famous Egyptian Museum ( the Grand Egyptian museum if opened ) houses 165,000 Egyptian artifacts, but the priceless treasures of King Tutankhamun are the highlight. His six gilded coffins dominate the main hall, while his magnificent death mask is the star attraction. Your guide will introduce you to the museum’s most important pieces before you have free time to explore at your leisure.
The Alabaster Mosque of Muhammed Ali, at the Citadel of Salah el-Din sits atop a limestone hill overlooking Cairo and is the most important mosque in the city. Still used as a place of worship today by the Muslims of Cairo, the architectural masterpiece opens its doors to visitors of all faiths. The lower part of the Mosque is clad inside and out with Alabaster, while the top part is constructed from the limestone cladding removed from the Pyramids of Giza. Inside the mosque, your guide will introduce you to the basics of the beliefs of Islam, including a translation of the most common prayers.
Continuing to Khan el Khalili bazaar, you will enjoy free time to stroll through the maze of streets and bargain for a souvenir of your trip to Egypt. During the day, you will also have the chance to visit a Papyrus Institute to see how the famous artwork is made.After that back to your hotel.
Day 4 :
Discover the Treasures of Luxor -Karnak & Luxor Temple
Meals (Breakfast –Lunch –Dinner )
After your breakfast you will check out of your hotel in Cairo and be transferred to the Cairo airport to take your Flight to Luxor. upon arrival, you’ll be met and transferred to embark on your Nile Cruise ship, which you will stay full board for the coming four nights, you will start your visits by exploring the Karnak temple, the largest religious Pharaonic temple ever built in the world, then visit the Luxor temple as well with your private guide after that back to your Nile cruise enjoy your lunch and dinner on board.
Day 5 :
Explore the Iconic Valley of the Kings & The Temple of Queen Hatshepsut
Meals (Breakfast –Lunch –Dinner )
Your first visit of the day will be to the Valley of the Kings, the necropolis of the Pharaonic New Kingdom, including the famous tombs of the kings of ancient Egypt, your next stop will be the amazing temple of Hatshepsut. the first woman who ruled Egypt this temple was used as a monastery in the Christian era. This is why it is famous for the name “El Deir Al Bahry”,
or the Western Monastery. Your last stop of the day will be at the gigantic Colossi of Memnon, these two 18 meters high statues are the only remaining items of the temple of Amenhotep III. During the Roman Era called them Memnon attributed to Aga Memnon of Troy, after that back to your Cruise for Lunch and be ready for sailing towards Edfu, dinner will be on board.
Day 6 :
Relaxing Cruise the Nile- Kom Ombo Temple
After breakfast, enjoy your cruise sailing and enjoy the tea time on the sundeck by the sun set your cruise will reach the amazing Temple of Kom Ombo dedicated to two gods; Horus, the falcon god, and Sobek, the crocodile God, after that visit the crocodile museum see the mummies of the sacred crocodile that were discovered in the temple, enjoy the evening as you continue cruising down the Nile to Aswan, enjoy some entertainments on board.
Day 7 :
Tour Aswan – Visit Philae island & Nubian village
Meals: (Breakfast-Lunch-Dinner)
Discover Philae Island Isis Temple of Goddess Isis of Love cross the Nile by motorboat to reach the temple enjoy the unique pillars and walls and Sanctuary of Goddess Isis, take lovely photos from the spectacular view.
after that ack to your Nile cruise after that have a very local tour to the Nubian village by motor boat learn about the Nubian culture and enjoy cooking at a local house with music etc after that back to your cruise, dinner on board.
Day 8 :
Aswan to Cairo flight
Meals: (Breakfast)
You will depart the boat in the morning. We will then make our way to the airport for late afternoon flights to Cairo.
Day 9 :
Departure Day
Meals: Breakfast
You will need to depart your hotel by noon. At your preferred time you will be escorted to the airport.
Terms and Conditions
Group Trip Cancellations.
If YCSMH has to cancel a group trip because a country has closed its borders, everyone will have a choice of receiving a refund or being rolled over to another group trip. The decision to cancel a group trip will be determined by myself and our local guides.
DEPOSITS PAID- CANCEL WITH NO REPLACEMENT
If you cancel a booking and cannot find a replacement the FULL deposit amount will be lost from the original person making the reservation.
DEPOSITS PAID- CANCEL WITH A REPLACEMENT – $100 Penalty
If YOU cancel and find your own replacement that “helps” but it doesn’t alleviate the time and effort I must spend to get your replacement up to speed (answer questions and send previous emails). A $100 fee will be charged if you cancel and find your own replacement.
FULL PAYMENTS PAID- CANCEL WITH NO REPLACEMENT- 90 DAYS BEFORE TRIP DEPARTURE
Full payments for all Happy trips are due 90 days before departure. If you cancel the trip you will not be eligible to receive a refund. You will need to file a claim with your insurance provider. As a rule most tour vendors, charter companies and hotels require full payment 90 days before arrival. Once we have made reservations MOST resorts, Charter companies, rental shops, etc hold YCSMH financially responsible (i.e. we have to pay them, hence we expect YOU to pay us).

FULL PAYMENTS PAID- CANCEL WITH A REPLACEMENT- 90 DAYS BEFORE TRIP DEPARTURE
In the event of a cancellation, YCSMH will gladly help find a replacement but the responsibility to find the replacement is that of the person canceling. If you find a replacement to fill your spot you will be eligible for a full refund minus a $100 fee.
If YCSMH finds you a replacement you will receive a refund minus the trip deposit. As I mentioned there is a considerable amount of time and effort spent to send out emails to your replacement to get them up to speed.
