6 nights / 7 days at $1400 per person shared room only. Join us as we hike and bike our way through Ireland. This trip will be limited to 16 people and is loaded with fun daily activities that will show you the true beauty of Ireland. The hiking and biking portion of the trip is at a moderate activity level for 3-4 hours. While in Killarney be prepared for an evening ghost tour that will definitely have you shaking. http://www.killarneyghosttour.com In all, there will be two days of biking through the countryside and two days of hiking through the hills. You will also have to the opportunity for an optional seaweed bath. All of our accommodations are at local bed and breakfast houses and always near a pub. A full itinerary is included below.

The price for this one week tour is $1400 shared room only. The price does not include airfare or the train/bus transfer from Tralee back to Dublin ($40-$60 depending on what method of transportation you choose). A $300 non refundable deposit must be placed at the time of booking and the balance will be due by July 20th, 2017, 60 days prior to the trip. This is a land based package only; airfare, tips, trip insurance, airport taxes and fees and meals other than those listed above are not included.

Day 1: Arrive to Dublin and proceed to the hotel. We cannot check into the hotel until 3pm, but you can leave your bags at the hotel. We are actually doing the Viking Splash tour of the city at 2pm, so make sure your at the hotel at 1pm. overnight at Sandymount Hotel http://www.sandymounthotel.ie
Day 2: Time to see Dublin – start with a Viking “Splash” tour of the city, followed by a trip to the famous Guinness Brewery. Lunch in Dublin & then transfer to Killarney by bus. Day 3: Leaving Killarney on cycle paths, you have a great start to your day as you cycle through the National Park to reach Muckross House. From here, you can enjoy some time around this beautiful old mansion, visiting the gardens & those who wish can enjoy an optional tour inside Muckross House. Continuing on from there, you cycle around the middle lake of Killarney (Muckross Lake) before returning to Killarney town for some leisure time in this bustling place. Cycle details – Distance: 21kms. Duration: 2/3 hours (cycle only)
Day 4: Starting at the beautiful 15th century Ross Castle, you take a small boat through the Three Lakes to finish at an old “hunting lodge” at Lord Brandon’s Cottage. Here you can enjoy some tea, coffee, cake or other refreshments if you wish before starting your cycle. As you make your way through the Black valley you get a sense for the isolation of this wondrous place. A short climb to the top of the “Gap of Dunloe” is rewarded with a view which has drawn visitors for over a hundred years to this glaciated valley of steep jagged rock and glistening mountain lakes. You continue through the valley and on through Killarney National Park where a beautiful cycle path meanders its way through the native woodland returning you to Ross castle where you began your day. Day 5: Moving on from Killarney today, you transfer to the Dingle Peninsula this morning, to enjoy a free day to relax. Enjoy local pubs, go on an optional kayak tour (50 euro) or relax in a seaweed bath (25 euro). Dinner in Dingle. http://www.bamburysguesthouse.com
Day 6: This hike is one of the highlights of your trip – walking the western tip of the Dingle Peninsula – the next “parish” across the Atlantic is in America as the locals say. Starting just outside Dingle town, you will start on the beautiful beach at Ventry before climbing to the foothills of Mount Eagle to enjoy a super walk in an area filled with wonderful old beehive huts. Learn all about the pilgrim past that made this region so popular. At the end of the walk, you will be transferred to have an optional Seaweed Bath, including a refreshing swim in the Atlantic Ocean afterwards (!!) or simply enjoy a pint & watch the bathers..!! This is also a wonderful opportunity to enjoy an Irish Coffee demonstration – and more importantly – tasting one at the end. Walk Details: Distance: 14kms. Duration: 4 - 5 hours. Max. Ascent: 300m. Rocky and grass tracks, with some wet & muddy underfoot conditions & some road walking. Boots essential.
Day 7: Transfer back to Tralee where you can link with an excellent bus/train service to reach your next destination for your onward journey.
