6 nights/ 7 days $2200 per person shared room or $2600 for private accommodations. Join us for a once in a lifetime trek to see the mountain gorillas of Bwindi, Uganda. This incredible trek features stays at beautiful eco mountain lodges, and lots of exotic animals. In addition to the gorilla trek we will observe the mountain chimpanzees and witness the famous tree climbing lions in Queen Elizabeth National Park. A boat cruise down the Kazinga Channel will bring you close to large herds of hippos and the native crocodiles. You will also get to view giraffes and zebras in the Kiruhura district. We will also have an opportunity to visit a local orphanage in Bwindi. You are welcome to spend time with the children and they will insure that you are entertained. You are welcome to bring donations to the community if you choose. Due to the lack of luggage space in our vans I recommend cash donations, pencils, and pens. This is an active trip for fun minded people. If you enjoy laughing, dancing, exploring and adventure, then this trip is for you. Bring a family member or friend, but make sure they are fun!

Please note that we cover a lot of ground during our 7 day tour. The logistics of this trip sometimes has us in a van for up to 5 hours. This was not an issue on our last trip as the scenery was breathtaking and the roads are mostly paved. If you cannot handle the simple inconveniences of Africa such as hit or miss internet or the occasional power outage please do not sign up for this trip. Air conditioning is also very rare in Uganda. The temperatures are very mild in the evening (65-68 degrees), so it was not an issue on our last trip. I mention the above things not to scare you, but to give you all the information you need to prepare yourself for this trip of a lifetime. Uganda is truly a life changing trip and the people and wildlife are captivating.
